Virgil Abloh: The Codes
Grand Palais, Paris
September 30 – October 9 2025

From September 30 to October 9, 2025, the Grand Palais hosts Virgil Abloh: The Codes, the first major European exhibition devoted entirely to the work of Virgil Abloh.

Presented by The Virgil Abloh ArchiveTM in partnership with Nike, the exhibition spans nearly two decades of creation, bringing together more than 20,000 pieces from Abloh’s personal collections: prototypes, sketches, objects, images, and finished works.
Curated by Chloe Sultan and Mahfuz Sultan, this expanded edition of the 2022 exhibition explores Abloh’s signature “codes” — the design principles that thread through his work in fashion, footwear, architecture, music, advertising, and design (a few pieces created for Galerie kreo, notably The Tower Hill Chair and from his Efflorescence collection, will be on view). The result is a portrait of a multidisciplinary practice rooted in dialogue, experimentation, and community.
The exhibition also highlights Abloh’s many collaborations with artists, designers, and athletes, underlining his commitment to creative exchange. A program of workshops, performances, and screenings further extends the experience, inviting visitors into the conversations that shaped his practice.

Alongside the exhibition, Colette — the iconic Parisian concept store co-founded by Sarah Andelman — will return for a special presentation in the Rotonde Clemenceau. Visitors will find newly conceived products by Abloh’s close collaborators, reissues of emblematic objects such as the Virgil AblohTM x Braun collection, and the French edition of Abloh-isms by Larry Warsh.
