JAM is a trio formed by Joe Halligan (b. 1988, UK), Dan Waterstone (b. 1989, Ireland) and Adam Willis (b. 1986, UK). They met while studying architecture in London in 2011 and began working together as JAM in 2021.

Their work moves between architecture, furniture and objects, treating these not as separate disciplines but as different scales through which to explore common ideas. Working collectively, JAM is interested in material transformation; in how things are made, used and altered. Their work draws on contemporary culture and everyday experience, and on the objects, spaces and habits that shape how we live today.

Their projects often develop through making, testing and collaboration, bringing together craft, industry and experimental processes. Architecture, objects, colour and material are considered together to create particular scenes and atmospheres. Through the handmade, adapted and improvised, JAM explores design as a cultural practice: a means of giving character and personality to the built environment, and of imagining richer, stranger and more particular ways of inhabiting the world.
