The exhibition unfolds across seven new environments, each structured around a table or a desk, the central element of the space. Lighting, vases, seating, mirrors and drawings complete these compositions, offering multiple interpretations of this everyday setting.
With The Office II, the gallery continues its exploration of the desk through new works that consider it both as a place for work and reflection, and as an intimate, creative space. The installations bring contemporary pieces into dialogue with icons of historical design.
The contemporary works include creations by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, Guillaume Bardet, François Bauchet, Ronan Bouroullec, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Marco Campardo, Pierre Charpin, Jean-Baptiste Fastrez, Front, Konstantin Grcic, Jaime Hayon, Hella Jongerius, Alessandro Mendini, Muller Van Severen and Marc Newson. Vintage design is represented by Bruno Gatta, Robert Mathieu, George Nelson & Associates, Pierre Paulin, Ernest Race, Gino Sarfatti and Vittorio Zecchin.
Through a diversity of atmospheres, The Office II offers a multifaceted reading of the workspace, inviting the desk to be seen not only as a functional object, but also as a true living space.
