When studying at the Kingswood School on the campus of the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Florence Knoll is protected by Eero Saarinen. She studied architecture at Cranbrook, the Architectural Association in London and Chicago’s Armour Institute.
