Niebla Coffee Table by Amaury Thiercelin

Introducing the first animation by Amaury Thiercelin, featuring Hella Jongerius’s “Niebla” table. Made of American walnut, the “Niebla” table is coated in a lacquer that fades gradually from natural wood to a delicate rose pink. In his animation, Amaury evokes this transformation through the poetic gesture of a falling petal, which gently lands on the surface and infuses it with colour — a nod to Jongerius’s ongoing exploration of colour as a material in its own right.
