O'Step questions the classical construction of a ladder, leaving aside the logic of assembly and instead presenting a structure carved from a single panel of bamboo. The succession of large circular holes redefines the archetype of the object, in favor of an elementary and equally iconic silhouette. The digital cutting ensures the exact geometry of the object. The internal structure of the panel is revealed and dresses each section with unique graphic details. O'Step remains a handcrafted object, whose sensibility is expressed above all in the finishing work of the material, tinted with an acidic yellow shade reminiscent of freshly cut bamboo.
